Faith Defenders Forum
I am happy to announce here the start of Faith Defenders, a new Christian forum. This is a joint venture between John Dunning, of HeartCry; and Endtime Disciples… with Jessie, of Surrender All also playing an important role.
These are darkening and difficult days for the world; and more importantly, for the world of believers in Jesus, the Christ. There are pressures… not only from an unbelieving world that is becoming, justifiably, more and more disenchanted with “Church” and “Christianity”… but also from within, in the form of ever-increasing apostasy and departure from truth by those who claim allegiance to Christ and His purposes.
Those who are even close to a clear vision of what the Body of Christ is supposed to be and do are becoming more of a minority almost by the day; and they are having a much more difficult time finding true fellowship and encouragement.
Our desire and prayer for Faith Defenders is that it will be a place where such believers can come; meet others of like mind; begin to forge genuine relationships; and spur one another on to truly live out the reality and purposes of our awesome Lord and Savior.
Not only will we be able to make posts on the forum about various subjects, but also share other good resources and teaching; upload files and videos; and even start chatting and conferencing through Yahoo Messenger and other platforms. The possibilities are big.
The forum is now in its infant stage, and it will surely go through a process of growth and evolution, but we invite you and anyone you know to be part of the process. All we ask is that you read through the homepage, which explains more fully our hopes and purposes. If you are in agreement, then feel free to get involved and be an important part of what we’re trying to do.
Be glorified, Lord Jesus, and smile upon your people!
This is a beautiful beginning. I like it and I believe many believers are out there who would like to express themselves or share burdens with others who would like to join them in prayer.
Please give this a shout to as many believers to be aware that something great have started.

Anyway, I too have joined the forum, though I have yet to figure the whole thing out…so I haven’t ‘introduced myself’ just yet – but I will when the time permits.
I have enjoyed much of the reading there already and have laughed a lot – - Gene and Jessie are so funny!
Though this fellowship is via Internet, I am still so excited for it!

Just a passing though to ponder…
I have read most of the blogs and posts. Whether I agree or not is not the issue. I believe Jesus message to us was one of GOOD NEWS, Thats what the Gospel is and I encourage you to pass on Good News.
Secondly I a question. Are we to Defend the Faith, or are we called to be comforters, encouragers, exhorters and pass on the Faith? Yes, I know you are going to defend your “Defending the Faith” position, but I ask you, what is the majority of your writing about, defnding, or encouraging?
Finally, remember, if you want to be a leader and consider yourself a leader here, you will held doubly accountable for those who walk away because of your words or condemnation.

If you are willing to be more clear and specific about our “condemnation”, I, and others, will be willing to dialogue, although it would probably be better on the forum. Generic statements are going to accomplish nothing.

I feel the answer is “Yes” to both. Although you would likely disagree, there has been much encouragement going on here and on the forum.
I wish we didn’t need to defend the faith, but with the incredibly man-centered and disobedient state of the church and Christians today, we believe we must.
You’ll likely see that statement as more condemnation, but I don’t believe it is. I see it as facing, and dealing with, reality.
I’m the only one in this world. Can please someone join me in this life? Or maybe death…
